Welcome to Sparks Guitars! We are very proud to introduce the Barry Sparks Signature Bass! Barry has toured the world with many bands in his almost 20 year career and is a very respected/incredible bassist and guitarist. He is also one of the hardest working and most sought after musicians around and has played with such rock icons as Yngwie Malmsteen, Michael Schenker (MSG), UFO, B'z, Uli Jon Roth, the Scorpions, Billie Myers, and is the current bassist for Ted Nugent & Dokken. Barry has dedicated his life to being the best bassist and musician he can be and has used many different basses throughout the years. He has liked different aspects about each instruments but could never seem to find one bass that had everything he was looking for all in one. So, Barry decided that he needed to have his own bass custom made to his exact specifications. Every detail would be exactly what he has always wanted in a bass; First, a killer body style that has a stage presence like no other. It can have a very vintage look or a more modern rock look depending on the color schemes and hardware used. Second, easy playability on the neck which is made in one piece through the body to give the bass great sustain and an unbelievable solid, low end. It has an ebony fret board with striking pearl inlays. Third, the ultimate pickup set-up featuring two Seymour Duncan Basslines Jazz bass pickups that have an incredibly clear and full sound. Each bass is handmade with the finest materials, and the pride and craftsmanship that goes into these instruments is second to none.
